To develop new vehicle electronics, ISO 26262:2018 requires that conceptual work be carried out in the concept phase. For this, we develop the following normatively required work products as requested by customers:
§“Item Definition” - A complete system and component description
§“HARA - Hazard Analysis and Risk Assessment” - An analysis of potential risks and assessment of these risks
§“Functional Safety Concept” - A concept to provide functional safety and deal with risks
