Air Products recently commissioned a new hydrogen refueling station in Crawley, England, featuring on-site liquid hydrogen storage. The station is already seeing days with up to 50 bus refuellings.

Looking ahead to late summer 2025, two new publicly accessible hydrogen refuelling stations will open in Germany. In Meckenheim, Regionalverkehr Köln GmbH (RVK) will fuel its fleet of hydrogen buses, in Hürth, the municipal utility Stadtwerke Hürth will supply its fleet. RVK and Stadtwerke Hürth are pioneers and among the leading players in Europe in the field of hydrogen mobility with buses.
