HYDRON

Hydron is the first 8 meter hydrogen bus, entirely designed and built in Italy.

The first prototype was designed eleven years ago and a ten-year study has improved it to the current version.

The fuel cell and batteries on board work in a range extender configuration, producing no polluting emissions. 8 meters long and 2.20 meters wide, it travels at a speed of 70km/h, can carry up to 48 passengers and is equipped with an access ramp for disabled people, has a range of up to 400 kilometers and 10.8 kilograms Hydrogen tank capacity.

Hydron is equipped with a "Hy4Drive System", an electronic driving management system, completely developed internally by Rampini expert technicians. The system offers four different ways of using the fuel cell and therefore the entire propulsion system.
